Winter Fair Lakeside Ville Shanghai November 2011

Lakeside was lovely.

The weather was fine, if a little cold earlier in the day in Shanghai. We managed to set up shop by 8:30 so the coffee and croissants were very welcome. As you can see from the photos we took along a lot of wines. Primarily I wanted to indicate our strength in depth and breadth. I had over 50 different wines from tiers 1 ,2 and 3 covering every major wine producing country and most grape varieties: something for everyone.

Oddbins style set-up reminded me of the old days

I wanted to emphasis our selling by the case approach I learned in the UK over 20 years ago. It was like being back at Oddbins (then the world’s greatest wine merchant).

Looking forward to the next one….
